Our mission is to illuminate the power of fruits and vegetables for the health of people and the planet.

About the Founder
A cross-country skiing trip across the Arctic and visit to the Svalbard Global Seed Vault in Norway is what inspired Amy Keller to merge her interests in health and climate. (Casual!). The end-product? Climate Candy®. FAVES is proudly woman-owned, founded, and pioneered by a vegan, 7x Ironman triathlete, and climate champion. As the disruptive granddaughter of the Spangler Candy Company (ever heard of Dum-Dums lollipops? Yup - that’s them), Amy took the initiative to create a new category of candy into her own hands. She made it her personal mission to make a healthy society on a healthy planet an achievable reality.

Using Candy to Fight Climate Change…Sweet!

Our climate-conscious candy world is made possible by fighting food waste through upcycling fruits and vegetables. Nearly one-third of the food produced in the world for human consumption every year gets lost or wasted. This is equivalent to 1.8 billion tonnes or 2,866,009,408,403 pounds of food. Fruits and vegetables have the highest wastage rates of any food - imagine all of the nutrients lost! All of this food waste could provide enough calories to feed every undernourished person on this planet with room to spare. Climate candy provides real nutrients from real produce, while adding no processed sugars. And the best part? It makes taking climate action easy! As a company, we are dedicated to meet our goal to upcycle 2.2 million imperfect fruits and vegetables from local farms in 2023.

FAVES® makes eating a daily serving of fruits and vegetables delicious, fun, affordable, and accessible. We imagine a world where fruits and vegetables taste like candy.
